A slight delay getting this post up, but better late than never! I visited the Winter Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair in Battersea Park in London last week and came across some amazing finds!
From antique French Bergère chairs to feather-clad lamp shades, there was so much to see and so much I wanted to take home! Photos from the event and my favourite vendors are below.
Furniture & Textiles
These sophisticated yet rustic chairs would look fantastic in a formal sitting room.I loved these antique french sofas – so versatile! These two beech framed ottomans were my favorite items on display at the fair. I loved both of the fabrics – they’re vintage welsh blankets! If I had a space that was big enough, I would have purchased one on the spot from David Bedale.Loved the color combination of the fabric on this ottoman! Both ottomans would be perfect additions to a ski chalet in Aspen or the Alps.
Chotskies & Art
Antique games, napkin rings, candlesticks, picture frames, and small silver items were all on display and available for sale. The fair was also a great place to pick up some artwork, particularly oil paintings.

Best Stands
I always like to make note of my favourite stands at exhibitions and fairs. Three vendors stood out to me in particular on this trip:
Sue Norman‘s blue and white china display was impressive and delightfully cheerful. She ships internationally and has a large collection of blue and white plates, platters, planters, and transferware.Malby Maps LTD had a great display of antique maps, globes, prints, and frames.
